First Visit of Master Nguyen Dan Việt Gérard to Gabon – November 2012

In November 2012, Gabon hosted a significant event for the practice of Viet Vo Dao: the very first visit of Master Nguyen Dan Việt Gérard. This landmark visit laid the foundations for the development of our martial art in the country.

During this intensive week, the Master conducted rigorous training sessions, sharing his knowledge and discipline with dedication:

• Week of intensity at Lycée Berthe et Jean: The first part of the seminar took place within the walls of this high school, where students benefited from comprehensive training under the Master’s direct supervision.
• Conclusion at Lycée National Léon M’Ba: The session concluded with demonstrations and technical workshops at Lycée National Léon M’Ba, cementing the impact of this inaugural visit.

These images reflect the enthusiasm of the participants, the precision of the taught movements, and the unique atmosphere of these encounters. This seminar fits into the continuity of our style’s development and our school’s presence in Africa, a dynamic already driven by the Master’s three previous visits to South Africa.
